NORTH SLOPE LINE WALK: As Need Be, So I Am Here

A work-in-process. For ten years I will prepare for the time when my father needs me most. At the designated time, I will walk from wherever I reside as “home” to my father and onward to the North Slope of Alaska, to the edge of the Arctic Ocean.

This project is about following a living line. It references inheritance, examination of the self as site for ideological and physiological change as sublime encounter and is about phenomenological transformations.

Upon completion, the project will house one book as a journal of the experience, one painting, a hollowed out Ford Maverick, one rifle, and a book to be determined.
